Great to meet you!

I believe it is the events in our life that shape us, although it is our choices that define us.

I find that a thorough examination of one's character, personality, and behavior reveals the aspects of oneself that we may wish to enhance or modify.

My goal, along with yours, is to “discover” who you are, rather than “recover” what you are.

Since birth, too many labels have been applied to define us. It is essential that you define yourself, accurately, in order to live an authentic life.

My approach to therapy

I have been in practice over 30 years. I have developed a great deal of expertise in many psychotherapeutic modalities, although I remain true to the meaning of psycho (soul) therapy (healing). More importantly, it is the connection that my client and my self establish that is essential to healing.

My approach to psychotherapy is eclectic, Teaching Interns has allowed me to offer knowledge and understanding about most modalities. I have learned and will tend to utilize those that I believe the client will respond to best.

I have a Doctoral Degree in Ministry. Hence my approach is holistic, which includes an examination of our physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual being.

I believe that if we develop the courage to enter our darkest night, with the guidance of an expert, we will make sustained changes in order to live an authentic life.

What you can expect from me

Sessions are about you, the client. I will offer information that may guide you to incorporate ideas for finding joy in your life. I am, though, a detail person and will ask many many questions for clarification.

It is important to me that you will guide me as well, sand inform me when my ideas do not seem accurate. This approach will enhance our connection so that we remain focused upon you.
