Great to meet you!

"Healing is possible, even when it feels far away."

I'm Liz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adults navigating trauma and PTSD.

Many of the people I work with are used to carrying a lot on their own. You may be the person others depend on—the one who keeps going, gets things done, and rarely lets anyone see how much you're struggling. On the outside, you may look like you're managing. On the inside, you may feel anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode.

You might find yourself overthinking, staying constantly busy, feeling on edge, struggling to slow down, or wondering why certain patterns keep showing up in your relationships and daily life. Often, these responses developed for a reason. They helped you cope with difficult experiences and get through what you had to get through.

Trauma isn't just something that happened in the past. It can affect how safe you feel in the world, how you relate to others, and how you see yourself. It can leave you feeling disconnected from your emotions, your body, or the person you want to be.

I provide a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed space where we can explore these experiences at a pace that feels manageable. My approach is relational and collaborative. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we'll work together to understand the patterns that have been keeping you stuck, process past experiences, build coping tools that actually fit your life, and strengthen your connection to yourself.

My goal is not to "fix" you, but to help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more able to move through life with a greater sense of choice, confidence, and self-understanding. Healing looks different for everyone, and we'll work together to find what that looks like for you.

My approach to therapy

Reaching out for therapy can feel like one of the hardest steps, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to begin looking for support and considering who might be the right fit for you.

I believe healing happens not only through therapeutic techniques, but through the experience of a safe, trusting, and attuned relationship. My clients often describe me as warm, engaging, approachable, and easy to connect with. While therapy can involve difficult conversations, I also believe there is room for humor, curiosity, and genuine human connection along the way.

If what you've read resonates with you, I invite you to reach out to schedule an appointment.

Finding the right therapist matters, and I'd be honored to explore whether I may be a good fit to support you on your healing journey.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and talk about what has brought you to therapy. We'll discuss what's feeling difficult right now, explore what you'd like to be different, and begin identifying goals for our work together. Most importantly, it's a chance for you to ask questions, share as much or as little as feels comfortable, and get a sense of whether I am the right fit for you.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe healing happens within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. Together, we'll explore patterns that may keep you stuck, process experiences that continue to affect you in the present and develop coping strategies that support you both inside and outside of therapy.

Therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what you're carrying, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside while trying to get through difficult experiences. Along the way, we'll build practical tools to help you navigate challenges, strengthen self-trust, and move through life with greater confidence and intention.

Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or returning to deepen your work, I strive to meet you where you are. We'll move at a pace that feels right for you, honoring both your goals and your readiness for change.
