Elizabeth Huynh

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Washington (LW60655411), and a Washington State Child Mental Health Specialist. I obtained Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis (2010) and my Bachelor’s in Social Work and psychology from Seattle University (2009). I have been working with children and families since 2010, and with adults since 2016. My work with children and families has been in the context of being a private practice therapist as well as a school social worker, school based therapist, and a foster care case manager. My experience encompasses working individuals from low to high-risk who are struggling with various mental health challenges such as ADHD, neurodevelopmental challenges, loss, abuse, neglect, behavioral issues, peer relationship challenges, bullying, family issues, divorce, perinatal and postpartum, parenting support, life transition, anxiety and depression.

My goal is to provide compassionate therapeutic services to help you through various life issues. I see the therapeutic process as a collaborative effort between us with the understanding that you are the expert on your life. I am here to help provide the tools and skills that will help you grow, develop, and reach your goals. As a result, I tend to utilize a strength based and client centered approach and use a variety of evidence-based approaches.

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you, find out what is bringing you into therapy at this time, and in what ways I can be of support to you.
