I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have experience working in a variety of clinical settings. My goal as a therapist is to provide a warm and welcoming space for clients to feel safe. I believe each person has their own journey and I hope to support each client in understanding their own inner strengths. I believe in taking an empathetic, genuine approach.
I specialize in working with young adults, ages 18-30 years old, struggling with social anxiety, life transitions, generalized anxiety, ADHD, body image issues, and difficulties in relationships. I practice from a strength-based, trauma informed approach using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psych-education and mindfulness-based exercises.
I strive to assist clients in setting goals, developing coping strategies and gaining self-awareness. I primarily focus on challenging and replacing negative self-talk while building the client's confidence to make lasting changes in their lives.
