Hello! I am a queer, nonbinary, and neurodivergent Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Yale School of Nursing with a concentration in Gender and Sexuality Health Justice. I have worked at places that focus on providing care for transgender, nonbinary, and gender diverse clients. I also have experience and enjoy helping clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and PTSD find relief.
I provide care that is LGBTQ+ and gender affirming. I understand how important it is to feel seen- you won’t need to educate me about your identity or the unique impact of the current environmental stressors. Also, my approach is collaborative—care should feel like something you’re an active part of. There will be no pressure to start a medication; we can discuss it thoroughly until you are comfortable making that decision.
Our first session will be about an hour, focused primarily on information gathering and establishing our space together. I'll ask questions to understand your background, who you are, and what you are looking for. We will work on identifying symptoms, discussing goals, and talking about what I can provide, whether you are looking for medication management only or medication and therapy combined. I will answer any questions you have, and if we have time, discuss possible options for medication management to review before our next session.
