Great to meet you!

I want to help couples improve their relationship. I have witnessed fulfilling and beautiful relationships flourish, and I have seen troubled relationships fail. I am glad that I have been professionally helping couples for the past 19 years and hope to do this for many years to come.

I am a first-generation Chinese American, born in Honolulu Hawaii, spent some of my life in Hong Kong, but have been living in California for the last 29 years.

My approach to therapy

One of my first supervisors taught me that as therapists we must not waste a client's time, that we need to offer help or some value every time we meet. While I am an affirming and supportive therapist, I want to make sure that each session is worthwhile and does not go off-topic.

What you can expect from me

We will define what the client wants to get out of therapy so we are on the same page and heading towards a clear goal. We can always modify or update the goal, but both the therapist and the client(s) should have a clear understanding of what we are trying to achieve.
