Great to meet you!

I am a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over seven years of experience across the medical and psychiatric landscapes. My practice is built on the belief that mental health cannot be treated in a vacuum; your physical health, lifestyle, and biology are all deeply interconnected.

My approach is integrative and root-cause focused. I specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and postpartum mental health, with a specific focus on how metabolic and hormonal factors impact your well-being. Because of my medical background, I bring a level of precision to medication management that ensures your treatment is safe, effective, and tailored to your whole body.

In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative partnership. I move away from the traditional 'doctor-centered' model to one where we make decisions together. Whether we are navigating a life transition, managing persistent symptoms, or exploring medication for the first time, my goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take charge of your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the best care happens when you feel like a person, not a 15-minute appointment. My approach is simple: I listen first. Because I am dual-certified in both family medicine and psychiatry, I don't just look at your symptoms—I look at your whole life.

If you’re struggling with anxiety, we won’t just talk about a prescription; we’ll also look at your sleep, your energy levels, and even your lab work to see if there is a physical reason you're feeling this way. I see us as a team. You are the expert on your own life and your own body, and I am here to provide the clinical expertise to help you feel like yourself again.

I’m not interested in over-medicating or giving you a 'quick fix' that doesn't last. I’m interested in finding the right balance—using the lowest effective doses and integrating lifestyle changes that actually fit your reality. Whether we’re navigating the transition into parenthood or managing the daily hurdles of ADHD, my goal is to make sure you leave every session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting is focused on gathering the right information. We will go through your mental health history, but I also look closely at your physical health—including sleep, nutrition, and any underlying medical issues.

Sometimes, we will have a clear treatment path by the end of the hour. Other times, we might need more information, like updated lab work or a follow-up conversation, before we decide on the best way forward. My priority is to be thorough and safe, making sure we’re making informed decisions about your care rather than rushing into a diagnosis or a prescription.
