Great to meet you!

Hi! I am Emily. I have over 20 years of experience working with adults, teens, and families. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and value working with individuals from all cultures, identities, and backgrounds, creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and understood.

My background includes supporting individuals through anxiety, life transitions, school and work related challenges, family dynamics, and a wide range of mental health and trauma-related concerns.

I understand how overwhelming it can feel to juggle responsibilities while trying to take care of yourself or your family. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported as you work through whatever is bringing you to therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-driven. I believe that you already have strengths and insight within you, and therapy is a space to better understand yourself while building tools that actually work in your day-to-day life.

I focus on helping clients make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, while also creating practical, realistic strategies for moving forward. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, relationship dynamics, and life transitions, and I support parents in developing effective, responsive approaches with their children.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s been going on, what’s feeling most important right now, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.

You can expect a relaxed, non-judgmental environment where you don’t have to have everything figured out. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and support.
