Great to meet you!

I am a newly certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. My background in long-term care, acute care, and inpatient mental health has given me a well-rounded perspective of patient care. I earned my Bachelor of Nursing from Ohio University and my Master of Nursing Science from Northern Kentucky University, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health. Currently, I am pursuing a Family Nurse Practitioner degree to provide both mental and medical care, allowing me to offer comprehensive support to my clients.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care focuses on empowering clients through patient-centered treatment. I believe that combining medication management with therapy is essential for achieving the best outcomes. I advocate for a holistic approach that emphasizes lifestyle and wellness support. Additionally, I value collaboration among physicians, therapists, social workers, and other care providers to ensure comprehensive and effective care for the client.

What you can expect from me

Clients can anticipate a supportive, judgment-free environment. During the initial psychiatric evaluation, we will build rapport, review history, assess symptoms, and develop a preliminary treatment plan. Follow-up appointments focus on monitoring progress, evaluating medication effectiveness, and making necessary adjustments to the treatment plan. I provide both telehealth and in-person visit options.
