Great to meet you!

I’m committed to creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I take an individualized, flexible approach to therapy, tailoring our work to your unique needs while also exploring deeper patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I have a strong focus on trauma and work to provide an inclusive, affirming environment for clients of all backgrounds. My goal is to balance a meaningful therapeutic connection with real, tangible progress toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client. I integrate psychodynamic therapy to explore underlying patterns and how past experiences shape your current relationships and sense of self, along with DBT to build practical skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I also draw from CBT to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and incorporate mindfulness and somatic awareness to support present-moment regulation.

I focus on both insight and actionable change, helping you understand the “why” behind your experiences while giving you concrete tools to navigate them differently. Throughout our work, I prioritize creating an inclusive, affirming space where you feel safe to explore, process, and grow.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns and relevant history while going at a pace that feels comfortable for you—there’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll also begin identifying initial goals and I’ll give you a sense of how I approach therapy, with the goal of creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and able to decide if this feels like a good fit.
