I have experience working with adults through all stages of life from later adolescence through older adulthood to cope with various life struggles including depression, anxiety, family struggles, stress, life transitions, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. I also specialize in working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

My approach to therapy

My style is compassionate, warm, and solution oriented. In order to build the therapeutic relationship and facilitate change I utilize strategies from positive psychology, solution focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

My role as a therapist is to create a safe space for each client to sort through emotions, struggles, and experiences in a manner that they feel comfortable with. I aim to instill hope and to have each person realize that they have a unique combination of inner strengths that will help them reach make changes to enhance the quality of their lives.
