Great to meet you!

I bring curiosity, empathy, and a genuine interest in understanding each person’s story to every session. Originally from Connecticut, I spent a decade living and working in New Orleans and now reside in Massachusetts, experiences that have shaped my understanding of different communities and cultures. I am licensed in all three states and certified in Trauma-Focused CBT, Grief and Trauma Intervention, and crisis intervention, with basic training in EMDR. My background includes clinical social work, school social work, teaching, clinical management, and program development. These experiences allow me to support clients across a variety of ages, identities, and family systems. I take a flexible, collaborative, and creative approach to therapy. My goal is to help clients feel supported, build practical skills, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy, creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and truly heard. I believe healing and growth happen through strong relationships, patience, and practical support tailored to each individual’s needs. My work is informed by Trauma-Focused CBT, grief and trauma intervention, crisis intervention, and basic EMDR training. I have experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating trauma, grief, PTSD, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and challenges with focus and organization. I enjoy helping clients recognize their strengths, build coping skills, and develop meaningful strategies they can use in everyday life. My goal is to help clients feel understood, empowered, and more confident as they move toward lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will review your intake and assessment results, explore your goals and hopes for therapy, and discuss what you want to achieve. If you’re unsure of your goals, we will start with some “get to know you” questions to build our therapeutic relationship and gradually clarify your goals as we learn more about your history and what brings you to therapy. We will also take time to answer any questions you have about me and my approach to therapy.
