Great to meet you!

I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Certified Telehealth Counselor in Rhode Island and Connecticut. I have a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Johnson & Wales University. My background includes working with a variety of clients including individuals, families, and couples. I offer both individual and couples therapy, while specializing in a variety of treatment areas, including but not limited to anxiety and depression.

My approach to therapy

Through my warmth, compassion, and understating, I use evidence based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Mindfulness to help clients address challenges while working towards meeting their own personal goals. I understand that cognitive restructuring can be a powerful tool to help clients overcome problematic patterns of thinking and move towards healthy and productive behavioral changes.

What you can expect from me

My hope is for you to come to each session feeling accepted and free of judgment. I believe we all have the ability to make lasting change in our own lives. For many of us this change comes after we have made mistakes, received support, and tried again. I will be here to support you in doing this work each step of the way. I look forward to helping you address what things are important to you at your own pace and witness your own personal growth.
