Great to meet you!

I work with adults who feel like they’re constantly trying to “get it together” while their mind and body are stuck in high alert, overthinking, or shutdown. I’m trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming, and I often use parts work and nervous system-based approaches to make sense of patterns that can feel confusing or shame-inducing. Therapy with me is human and straightforward. You do not need to perform, mask, or explain yourself perfectly. We move at a pace your system can handle, and we pay attention to what helps, what doesn’t, and what’s doable.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach. I use Internal Family Systems and nervous system-based frameworks to understand protective patterns, reactivity, shutdown, and the effects of chronic stress and trauma. We move at a pace that respects your capacity, with consent guiding depth and focus. When useful, we integrate practical tools (mindfulness, somatic strategies, and cognitive skills) to support day-to-day life.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll slow things down and get oriented. I’ll ask what brings you in, what you’ve tried, and what feels most urgent right now. We’ll also talk about what helps you feel safe and what tends to shut you down or push you into overthinking. I’ll share how I work (trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, often using parts work and nervous system-based frameworks), and we’ll decide together what a realistic starting point looks like. You can expect a collaborative pace with no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.
