Evelyn Veloz Rocheleau is a clinician specializing in mental health services, psychological evaluations, individual psychotherapy, and family counseling. Evelyn has experience treating complex trauma and is trained in several evidence-based treatments; including Family Systems, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Narrative Talk Therapy, Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness. Evelyn practices a client lead approach with an empowerment focused perspective. Her specialties include anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and trauma. Evelyn works with a diverse cliental including young adults, adults, the elderly and prenatal/postnatal mothers.
Evelyn has undergone trainings to conduct psychological evaluations of torture survivors with Physicians for Human Rights and the Brown Human Rights Asylum Clinic. Evelyn is an Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in the State of Rhode Island and graduated from Boston University, School of Social Work focusing on clinical practice.
