Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Fabiola Reid, LCSW, LICSW,LISWSIFI also known as (Tina). With a deep passion for helping others, my career as a psychotherapist has been a fulfilling journey of supporting individuals on their path to healing and personal growth. In my opinion every client is ideal because they all come with different personalities as well as their issues/interest. That old saying “Never judge a book by its cover” Is my belief system. My ideal client would be all clients that have chosen to work with me and I with them. My ideal client could be you. I work with those whom may be struggling with issues of depression, anxiety, coupled by grief which may have been brought about due to loss, whether it's in relation to, employment, loss of pet, loved one, or just needing a listening ear.

My approach to therapy

My specialty is a Client - Centered approach. Where my client will work toward problem solving in order to better assist their needs to develop a healthier life. I often use cognitive behavioral therapy. Assisting my clients in developing positive thought process and not negatively. However, I also utilize gestalt therapy (here and now) allowing my clients to develop ways in which they focus on the moment. However, sometimes I do prefer Maslow theory assisting my clients to accomplish their basic needs. The beginning is a good place to start. if this what you’re interested in seeking please feel free to reach out. Over the years, I've honed my skills in providing therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client. Whether working with individuals, adolescents, families, couples or groups, I approach therapy with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment.

What you can expect from me

My expertise in psychotherapy extends beyond traditional talk therapy. I am experienced in addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship conflicts. By utilizing evidence-based techniques and drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, I empower my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to develop effective coping strategies. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing the transformation and growth that occurs as clients gain insight, develop resilience, and overcome obstacles. I believe in the inherent strength and resilience of each individual, and I am dedicated to walking alongside my clients as they embark on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. In addition to my direct work with clients, I am also passionate about advocating for mental health awareness and destigmatizing seeking help for psychological concerns. Through community outreach, education, and collaboration with nonprofit agencies, I strive to promote mental wellness and ensure access to quality mental health care for all. My commitment to excellence in psychotherapy is reflected in my ongoing professional development and pursuit of advanced training opportunities. As a licensed clinical social worker and certified supervisor in field instruction, I am dedicated to staying current with the latest research and best practices in the field. In every therapeutic encounter, I bring to bear not only my clinical expertise but also my genuine care and respect for each individual's unique journey. I am deeply honored to be entrusted with the privilege of supporting others in their quest for healing, growth, and self-fulfillment
