Great to meet you!

I believe that mental health care should be personalized, collaborative, and free of judgment. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of experience, I work with adults and older adults experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, mood disorders, and other psychiatric concerns. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your treatment journey.

I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming, and I strive to make the process as comfortable as possible. Together, we'll explore your unique experiences, identify your goals, and develop a treatment plan that supports your overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is patient-centered, evidence-based, and holistic. I recognize that mental health is influenced by biological, psychological, and social factors, so I take time to understand the full picture of your life and experiences. Treatment may include comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, supportive therapy, and education to help you better understand your symptoms and treatment options.

I believe in working collaboratively with clients, ensuring they play an active role in decision-making. My focus is on building a strong therapeutic relationship, reducing stigma, and helping clients develop the tools and confidence needed to achieve lasting emotional wellness.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for care. We'll discuss what brings you to treatment, review your current symptoms and concerns, explore your mental health and medical history, and talk about any previous treatment experiences.

I will take time to understand your goals and answer any questions you may have about the treatment process. By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer understanding of your diagnosis, treatment options, and next steps. Most importantly, you can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can openly share your experiences and feel supported from the very beginning.
