Great to meet you!

It is my privilege and my pleasure to assist individuals in addressing and resolving the effects of overwhelming experience in their lives. I provide assistance with anxiety and depression and in regard to a wide range of difficult experiences from more commonplace life experiences to severely traumatic life events.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults (including senior adults) within both the mental health and addiction fields. I have worked with significant numbers of individuals in the arts and from within LGBTQ communities and communities of color, as well as with military veterans, law enforcement officers, and first responders.

I am a graduate of the National Institute for the Psychotherapies' postgraduate Trauma Certification Program and possess the Telemental Health Training Certificate (THTC) issued by Ray Barrett's Telehealth Certification Institute.

My approach to therapy

As well as being well versed in regard to traditional (or mainstream) psychotherapy, I have an enormous appreciation for alternative and complementary approaches to mental health care and possess training and experience in multiple modalities including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), SE (Somatic Experiencing), NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Ericksonian Hypnosis, IFS (Internal Family Systems) and Brainspotting.

What you can expect from me

A warm welcome and genuine interest in getting to know you and in becoming familiar with your particular situations, needs, goals, and dreams - in your own ways and at your own pace. I enjoy working collaboratively and am hugely optimistic in regard to the abilities that all of us have to learn and to grow.
