Great to meet you!

I’m a compassionate and dedicated healthcare provider specializing in psychiatric and family medicine. My passion for this work is deeply personal, shaped by my family’s experiences with mental health, which has given me a strong understanding of the emotional challenges individuals and their loved ones face. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and valued. I’m fluent in English, Spanish, and Creole/French, and I’m committed to making mental health care accessible and culturally sensitive for all. My goal is to partner with you in your journey, helping you feel empowered, understood, and supported every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and holistic, patient-centered care. I treat a variety of conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, PTSD, insomnia, and substance use disorders. I work with adults across different stages of life and tailor my care to meet each person’s unique circumstances and goals. My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic. I believe that effective care goes beyond symptom management; it involves understanding the whole person, including their background, experiences, and goals. I work closely with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your needs, whether that includes medication management, education, or supportive guidance. I prioritize open communication, cultural sensitivity, and trust, and I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing openly. Together, we’ll focus on building practical strategies and long-term solutions that support your well-being and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and judgment-free environment where we take the time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your current concerns, mental health history, and goals for treatment so we can build a clear understanding of your needs.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what matters most to you. Together, we’ll begin to outline a personalized care plan and discuss next steps, so you leave feeling informed, supported, and confident about your path forward.
