Great to meet you!

Great to meet you. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas and have been practicing since 2006. I earned my Master of Education from Lamar University and work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, burnout, self-esteem, coping skills, spiritual concerns, and life stress. My goal is to provide a place where you feel heard, respected, and supported while also helping you take practical steps forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, practical, and collaborative. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Christian counseling when clients want faith included. We will work together to understand what is keeping you stuck, build healthy coping skills, and identify realistic steps toward growth. I am also happy to pray with clients who desire that as part of the counseling process.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will talk about what brought you to counseling, what you have been carrying, and what you hope will change. You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. My goal is to create a calm, respectful, and honest space where you can share openly. From there, we will begin identifying goals and practical next steps that fit your life and values.
