George Gonzalez

I graduated from Florida International University with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health. Since 2007, I have been serving the South Florida community as a mental health counselor. His work has been extensive as a group facilitator, as well as with individuals, in the fields of anger management, domestic violence, substance abuse, and grief counseling, I have also worked with many clients who struggle with depression and anxiety.

My methods are a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanistic/existential approaches, and mindfulness-based stress reduction practices.

My philosophy is “that helping and teaching others has a reciprocal effect, where you are helped and taught in the process as well.”
