Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who provides a supportive, safe and collaborative working environment. After graduating with my MSW, I chose a position where my clinical skills would be put to the test and where I could grow as a clinician. I found myself working in community mental healthcare with clients of different backgrounds and mental health presentations. It is here that I learned the importance of the therapeutic relationship and cultural competency.

My approach to therapy

We will work to understand how past events affect your current perceptions, and how present experiences shape your thoughts, feelings and behavior. I have experience working with adults and young adults to improve varying degrees of anxiety, depression, and mood presentations. I have helped clients enhance their self-esteem, communication, boundary-making, interpersonal skills and coping strategies. I am an active listener who challenges unhelpful self narratives to make way for productive ones.

What you can expect from me

I utilize frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy to draw upon resources, strengths, and skills that you already possess. I work to meet people where they are at with compassion, warmth, and curiosity.
