Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am glad that you are here.

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My goal is to support you to better understand yourself, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) in CT and MA with more than 15 years of experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I have completed advanced studies in trauma and have extensive experience working with anxiety and mood disorders, as well. I have had the honor of working in multiple settings with a range of people and communities and am so grateful for each opportunity I have had to support and partner with someone towards their goals and through their struggles.

My practice is fully virtual, allowing clients to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of their chosen environment.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person has strengths, even when they may feel difficult to recognize. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I work with clients to understand how past experiences, relationships, and current stressors influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. You are the expert of you, let’s work together to figure things out.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, somatic techniques, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, and strengths-based interventions, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Whether you’re processing trauma, managing anxiety or depression, navigating a major life transition, or simply feeling stuck, therapy is a space where we can slow down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and to start to build the ways that we can work together to support you. My priority is creating a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can share your story without feeling rushed or pressured. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, your personal strengths, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together.

By the end of our first meeting, you’ll have a clearer understanding of how I work, and we’ll begin developing goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. My goal is to support your goals, help you to understand your experiences, strengthen your insight and coping, and to build a trusting relationship where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make changes that improve your well-being over time.
