Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate difficult life experiences and build emotional resilience. I have extensive experience working with trauma, anxiety, family conflict, and self-esteem challenges.

My work focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, understand their experiences, and develop healthier coping skills. I have worked with individuals and families dealing with trauma, abuse, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

I am passionate about helping clients rediscover their strengths, improve their emotional well-being, and build healthier relationships. My goal is to empower each person to move toward healing, self-understanding, and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and strengths-based interventions.

I often incorporate creative and expressive techniques, especially when working with children and adolescents, to help them express emotions in ways that feel natural and safe. I also focus on emotional regulation, self-awareness, and developing practical coping strategies that clients can use in their daily lives.

I believe healing happens when people feel heard, supported, and understood. Together, we work to identify patterns, process difficult experiences, and build the tools needed for healthier relationships and emotional balance.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your experiences, concerns, and goals so we can begin to develop a plan that supports your needs.

My goal is to create a welcoming and comfortable environment where you feel safe sharing your story at your own pace. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. The first session is simply the beginning of a collaborative process focused on support, healing, and growth.
