Great to meet you!

If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, you're not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or unsure how to move forward. Others are navigating difficult relationships, the impact of past experiences, chronic stress, or the pressure of balancing responsibilities while trying to care for themselves.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 17 years of experience, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My goal is to help you better understand what's contributing to your challenges, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that support healing, resilience, healthier relationships, and long-term emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges while identifying strengths that can support your growth and healing.

My approach draws from evidence-based practices including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Problem-Solving Therapy. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship concerns, trauma, women's issues, or major life transitions, we'll focus on meaningful strategies that support lasting change and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong foundation for therapy. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being yourself and sharing openly.

As we work together, you can expect compassion, collaboration, and practical support. We'll identify patterns that may be contributing to your challenges, strengthen healthy coping skills, and create a plan that feels realistic and meaningful. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more confident, resilient, and connected to the life you want to create.
