Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, and Endorsed Infant-Family Specialist, I’m deeply committed to supporting new parents through the transformative—and often overwhelming—journey of early parenthood. With a little over 6 years of specialized training and experience in perinatal mental health, lactation counseling (CLC), and Baby-Led SleepTM, I empower families with evidence-based, attachment-centered strategies to nurture their well-being and help them thrive--not just survive--in parenthood. My work at Magnolia Birth House and my online therapy practice focuses on helping parents navigate identity shifts, mood challenges, and bonding difficulties, while my Cuban-American roots and neurodivergent (AuDHD) perspective inform my culturally sensitive, inclusive approach. As a Miami native and mother myself, I understand the gaps in postpartum support firsthand—which is why I’m thrilled to collaborate with Headway to provide accessible perinatal mental health treatment.

Credentials: LMHC (FL), MS (Nova Southeastern), CCATP, IMH-E®, CLC (ALPP), Baby-Led SleepTM & Well-being Specialist

My approach to therapy

I take an emotionally focused, attachment focused, & trauma informed approach to psychotherapy. Within this framework I weave in other evidenced based approaches and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, & Solution Focused Interventions. I further provide measurement based care by incorporating assessment tools that help me and my clients better track progress toward treatment goals.

What you can expect from me

While working with me in therapy, you can expect to be listened to, validated, and feel safe with someone that will remain present with you in the here and now regardless of what scary or uncomfortable thoughts and feelings come up. You can expect to receive therapeutic resources, feedback, and tools that will allow you to reduce your distress, help you connect with your core authentic self, and increase your overall joy and confidence.
