Great to meet you!

Reaching out to a therapist feels like the first time in a bathing suit after a long winter on the couch. Yes, it's scary, but it can also be transformative.

I have a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from, the University of WI, Whitewater.

While I have training as a generalist, I have advanced skills and training in eating disorders, marriage and family, and Substance Abuse, where I completed my addiction studies abroad in Scotland.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, collaborative and strength-based. As a therapist, I am warm, open, encouraging, and direct.

My most important task for clients is that they use therapy as a tool to gain enough insight and coping skills to think, feel, and behave in such a way that feels genuine and authentic to them.

I am skilled at using a wide variety of therapeutic approaches, including attachment theory work, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, schema, and insight-based therapies.

What you can expect from me

I tailor my approach based on the specific goals and strengths of each client so that each person experiences therapy that is a good fit for them. All therapy I do is evidence-based and is designed to be empowering, with a focus on depathologizing the person.

Counseling is an opportunity to help people diminish pain and suffering, cope with life’s challenges (both normal and extraordinary), and experience increased joy, purpose, and self-acceptance.
