Great to meet you!

I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience, including nearly a decade in psychiatry. I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or patterns that feel hard to break. My goal is to create a space where you can feel understood without judgment and supported in making meaningful changes. I take a practical, down-to-earth approach, helping you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so you can feel more in control of your day-to-day life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, structured, and focused on helping you build skills you can use outside of sessions. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is especially effective for anxiety, to help you identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with more balanced, realistic ones.

I believe therapy should feel both supportive and productive—you’ll not only have space to talk, but also tools and strategies to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—what’s been going on, what’s bringing you to therapy now, and what you’d like to change or improve. We’ll talk through your current challenges, especially any anxiety or stress you’re experiencing, and begin to identify patterns that may be contributing to how you feel.

You can expect a conversation that feels relaxed, respectful, and focused on your needs. By the end of the session, we’ll start to outline clear goals and next steps so you leave with a sense of direction and what working together will look like.
