Great to meet you!
Are you a woman who feels like she's lost the thread of who she is — underneath the new baby, the changing body, the roles that keep expanding while something essential keeps shrinking?
You don't have to stay stuck there.
Are you a woman who feels like she's lost the thread of who she is — underneath the new baby, the changing body, the roles that keep expanding while something essential keeps shrinking?
You don't have to stay stuck there.
I'm Heather — an LCSW and PhD with 19 years of experience helping women come back to themselves. I specialize in Nature Informed Therapy, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (postpartum depression, anxiety, and pregnancy-related struggles), and women's life transitions — including identity shifts, perimenopause, menopause, and the quiet grief of things changing faster than you're ready for. My goal is to help you understand yourself more fully, so you can build a life that actually feels like yours.
What makes my practice different is The Wildernest — a woodland therapy setting where your sessions happen outside, surrounded by trees, birdsong, and the kind of quiet that wakes something up in you. Nature isn't a backdrop here; it's part of the work.
Because The Wildernest is a unique setting, all new clients start with one telehealth session so we can make sure we're a good fit before you come in person. After that, we can always meet virtually on bad weather days or when life gets in the way.
My style is warm and genuinely conversational — I use visualization, metaphors, and real talk to help you identify patterns and build skills. Most people say it feels less like therapy and more like talking with an old friend who actually helps.
Come find yourself at The Wildernest.
