Heather Shirm

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's of Social Work from Florida State University. I am also certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

I’m a therapist who works with children, adolescents, and families, helping them navigate trauma, anxiety, big emotions, and life transitions in a supportive and empowering way. I provide in-person and telehealth therapy for children and teens ages 5–18, as well as family therapy sessions.

I value close collaboration with caregivers and help families strengthen communication, deepen connection, and build practical tools for managing challenges together. My goal is to create a calm, compassionate space where children and families feel safe exploring their experiences and growing in confidence, resilience, and hope.
