Great to meet you!

My name is Heather Tharp. I am a Kansas native, but I have called Colorado home for nearly 25 years. I am a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. I come to you with an enormous amount of life experience and I have a passion for serving others.

After suffering a sudden and traumatic loss, I sought counseling to help me learn how to cope with my loss and move forward with my life in a healthy way. My journey through therapy showed me that there is hope! Healing is possible; there is love, happiness, and purpose through all the unexpected circumstances we endure along the way.

My approach to therapy

My counseling approach is grounded in hope and healing. Hope sustains us through some of life's most difficult challenges. Embarking on the journey toward healing can be scary, but you are worth every step. I'm proud of you for considering who you want to walk along side you. You are as unique as your journey, I will honor your path toward healing.

What you can expect from me

I want to meet you along your journey and bear witness to your pain, your hope, and your healing. I will provide competent and compassionate counseling to my clients that are struggling with the daily challenges of life, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and trauma. In the midst of life's struggles, I believe we must celebrate self-discovery and personal growth as much as we acknowledge our struggles.
