Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Heather and I am the founder of After All Counseling. I help patients ages 7 and up experiencing anxiety, depression, school issues, marital issues, grief and loss related to everyday life. Through my care, patients build applicable skills and reach a new sense of identity, hope and peace. I founded my practice as an inclusive community to encourage growth and healing through self-care. I strive to provide a safe space where your voice can be heard and acknowledged.

My approach to therapy

In a word, my approach is integrative. This means I use strategies from various styles of psychotherapy--like cognitive-behavioral therapy, strengths-based, gestalt, among others-to help guide you towards your goals. I specialize in helping people tackle issues from a safe and mindful place. I will do my best to help you move toward health and happiness. I view others through a holistic lens and will examine the factors of a person's life and health that may be impacting their mental health.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions together, we will collaborate to establish and work towards your goals. My goal is to help guide you in the direction you want to be in. I believe that a therapist can encourage you to recognize your strengths so that you can use them to help you grow. I value all of my clients.
