Great to meet you!

I’m a therapist who values honesty, transparency, and growth. I am grounded in respect for each person’s humanity and dignity of choice. I love to help my clients understand why they feel and act the way they do, and I believe knowledge is empowering.

I’ve worked in community mental health with people from all walks of life, which shaped my belief in supporting clients without judgment, especially during difficult times. I believe showing up for people who are suffering helps all of us heal and grow.

I take a holistic, systems-informed approach. I recognize that overall well-being is shaped not only by internal experiences but also by larger systems, like family dynamics, culture, media, policies, and social inequities. In therapy, we may discuss how mind and body are interrelated, sleep, nutrition, movement, routines, and spirituality when relevant.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy small coffee shops, hiking and camping, reading, and binge watching thrillers.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is structured, collaborative, and strength based. I take time to listen deeply and understand what’s contributing to your difficulties, I’ll help you stay focused on your goals. Sessions may include guided relaxation/meditation activities, checking in on your goals, figuring out patterns, reprocessing emotionally charged experiences (EMDR), and challenging unhelpful thoughts and beliefs.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together you can expect to get transparent guidance about what therapy entails overall but also our specific plans to work together. We will plan around your goals and what you need right now. The plan may include steps to help you to feel calmer, more in control, connected to yourself, confident, clear on your next steps, and happier overall.
