Great to meet you!

I am a therapist with over 20 years experience and am accepting new clients. I find Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy styles work well in my practice. One of my areas of expertise is working with survivors of abuse, though in these many years, I have worked with people struggling with many different kinds of issues, such as loneliness, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and self-esteem. Whatever brings you in, my goal is to help you feel understood and to support you in moving toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

I create a space where you can heal and grow. You would find me warm and nurturing, though I can also be direct. For a while, we walk the path together--at a pace that feels right for you--as you do the healing and growing you need to do.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really just a chance for us to meet and get acquainted. There's no pressure for you to tell your whole story or have it all figured out--you can share as much or little as feels comfortable. I will ask some questions to help me understand you and what you are hoping for, but mostly I want you to leave knowing this is a safe place to land. After many years of doing this work, very little surprises me, and there's nothing you could bring that I'd judge you for. Come as you are--we'll take it from there.
