Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Irma Da Silva, a Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy should be a space where you feel safe, heard, and valued. With a PhD in Family Therapy and a master’s in Clinical Psychology, I bring both professional expertise and genuine care to the work we do together. I honor your story, your culture, and the unique strengths you already carry.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a collaborative journey. I draw from postmodern, narrative, systemic, and trauma-informed approaches to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, uncover the patterns that shape your life, and build on your resilience so you can create meaningful change. My work is rooted in compassion, cultural responsiveness, and a belief in each person’s capacity for resilience and change.

What you can expect from me

As a therapist passionate about supporting people, I hold space for them to feel heard, validated, and empowered—by facilitating a space for them to reclaim their autonomy, cultivate self-efficacy, and navigate life’s challenges with courage and authenticity. I believe therapy should not only address struggles but also honor strengths, lived wisdom, and the unique identities that shape each client’s journey.
