Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Irma Andrea Mendoza, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Washington. My clinical practice focuses on supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and life transitions, with a special emphasis on youth and older adults living with chronic medical conditions. I believe in creating a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and move toward healing and well-being. I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey toward emotional and mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy integrates talk therapy with a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and holistic mind–body perspective. I also draw on my background in medical social work to address the connection between physical health and emotional well-being. Together, we’ll explore your experiences in a supportive space that honors your culture, values, and unique healing journey.

What you can expect from me

When working with me, you can expect a welcoming, calm, and supportive environment where you are truly seen and heard. Each session is centered around your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we’ll work toward healing, resilience, and a greater sense of well-being.
