Great to meet you!

Do you want therapy that connects depth with clear, practical steps to help you flourish? I am equipped to work with adults facing life's transitions, drawing from my background in counseling, education, and supervision. Working in the field since 2016, my experience includes community mental health, family services, teaching, and directing training clinics, giving me a profound appreciation for helping individuals establish a safe and empowering baseline for their care. My direct work includes anger, anxiety, grief, autism, oppositional defiance disorder, identity struggles, and more. I also work with a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, adjustment, pornography addiction, and relational issues. I welcome clients from all walks of life, valuing the unique perspectives each person brings. I am particularly attuned to exploring spiritual themes, whether rooted in faith, personal meaning, or existential questions, as they often play a key role in personal growth and resilience. Upon client request, I also offer faith-integrated counseling from a Catholic-Christian perspective, and my research on forgiveness and moral psychology provides a unique perspective that enriches my practice. I am dedicated to respecting my client's values and belief systems throughout the counseling process.

My approach to therapy

Initially, I try to get to know my clients and understand their perspective. From there we develop an evidence-based approach that best suits you. I hold a PhD from Duquesne University and a Master’s from Franciscan University of Steubenville, and my training helps me integrate philosophy, spirituality, and evidence-based practices. My view focuses on the whole person—body, mind, and soul—working from a philosophically and spiritually integrated model. My therapeutic training is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and I also have experience with Solution Focused therapy. These structured, goal-oriented methods help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing practical strategies for lasting change. At the same time, I keep it practical and focused on achieving your goals. I hope to explore anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, vocational questions, or the sense that “something is missing” to see where your story leads you.
