Great to meet you!

Macy is an Adoption-Competent therapist who is also an adoptee. She's passionate about providing therapy to those who need help navigating post-adoption issues, trauma, anxiety, grief, & growing up with emotionally immature parent.

She works with high performing individuals (CEO's, Founders, Entrepreneurs, Athletes) & people who struggle to understand why they cannot get unstuck. You will leave each session with tools & strategies - we'll figure this out together

My approach to therapy

Macy recognizes people need a safe and accepting environment to learn about themselves and their relationships to be successful within the therapeutic process.

Macy's guiding principle is that healing occurs within a relationship & she emphasizes the importance of relationships as a vital mechanism for change in a non-judgmental, strength-based environment. She works collaboratively with the client/families to help achieve therapeutic goals. Mindfulness plays an important role in all her therapeutic work.

What you can expect from me

I've been successful in uncovering what is keeping a client stuck and then collaborate with the client to find a new path of success. I'm a tools therapist - you will leave each session with tools and strategies. I believe while talk therapy is important part of the healing process, it's trying the tools and strategies that will keep you growing and emotionally healthy.
