Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Jaclyn, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with experience and training in play therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and navigating the ever-changing seasons of life, including childhood challenges, relationships, parenting, and loss. I also hold a certification in sandtray therapy. I’ve worked in a center for child survivors of abuse, with children with various diagnoses in a children’s hospital, and in an intensive outpatient program for teens and young adults. I believe in welcoming all parts of you—not just the ones that brought you into therapy—because I see you as so much more than your symptoms or diagnosis.

My approach to therapy

I am compassionate and committed to providing an authentic experience that meets clients where they are. I believe we are all striving for connection and a sense of belonging, and my approach reflects this by creating a space tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're seeking laughter, healing, coping skills, or simply a safe space to process, I prioritize making our time together meaningful and productive. My therapeutic style is rooted in empathy and connection, focusing on fostering growth and working collaboratively with you. I use evidence-based practices to offer practical tools and strategies that align with your goals and aid in you becoming the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other and discuss your goals and needs for therapy. I’ll learn about both the challenges that brought you here and the parts of yourself and your life that you value. Together, we'll create a plan that ensures our work aligns with what’s most important to you, setting the foundation for healing and growth.
