Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Jackie. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a PhD in East-West Psychology and over 30 years of experience. I specialize in supporting diverse populations through depression, anxiety, sexual and historical trauma, and chronic pain. I am deeply passionate about exploring racial, cultural, gender, and LGBTQI identities. Having counseled university students and individuals of all backgrounds, I draw from my own multicultural family experiences to provide a truly inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive space for everyone.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach is holistic, blending cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapies. I utilize cognitive emotional behavioral therapy, behavioral activation, and psychoeducation to address emotional distress. By incorporating relaxation and mindfulness techniques, I empower you with practical tools to find lasting balance and healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will explore your unique background, current stressors, and goals in a safe, judgment-free environment. Together, we will outline a collaborative plan that honors your lived experiences. You deserve culturally responsive, compassionate care—reach out today to schedule our first session and begin your healing journey!
