Great to meet you!

Hello! I’ve been been working in mental health since 2006. I work from a holistic perspective, integrating the psychological, emotional, spiritual, and physical. I believe in the importance of taking someone’s intersecting identities into consideration when working with them as these affect our experiences.

My approach to therapy

I’ve studied Jungian and depth psychology since 2008 and this led me back to my interest in providing culturally informed care. In 2019 my focus in my continuing education and training has been in deepening my understanding of trauma and holistic approaches to therapy. Some modalities include trauma conscious yoga, somatic experiencing, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, learning more about epigenetics and intergenerational trauma and resilience.

What you can expect from me

Ideally, those I work with will develop the ability to tolerate stressors through the collaborative development of healthy routines that incorporate a multitude of tools such as affirmations, grounding, and breath work. I also aspire to teach clients a healthy sense of philosophical curiosity in the face of challenges and uncertainty. I aim to balance between practical tools people can immediately put to use as well as encourage a deeper understanding of the Self and the world around them.
