My approach is warm, direct, and empowering. I believe in being honest, collaborative, and focused on solutions that help you move toward your goals at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I have experience working with clients who have lived through trauma, struggle with anger or impulsive behaviors, face bullying or peer pressure, or find it difficult to speak up for themselves.

Many of the individuals I work with also navigate challenges related to low self‐esteem, ADHD, and anxiety. I help clients build confidence, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop practical skills they can use in real‐life situations. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more capable, and more in control of your choices, so you can create the life you want, not the one you feel stuck in,

My approach to therapy

My approach centers on helping clients understand themselves, build practical skills, and make meaningful changes that support their goals using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) approaches.

Clear, goal‐driven work — I help clients define what they want to change and break those goals into manageable steps.

Skill‐building and real‐life application — Sessions focus on usable, practical tools that a client may use immediately, especially around emotional regulation, communication, and decision‐making.

Strength‐based perspective — I highlight clients’ existing abilities and help them recognize their own resilience.

Collaborative exploration — I ask thoughtful questions, offer direct feedback, and guide clients toward insight without being overwhelming.

Supportive accountability — I help clients stay focused on their goals while honoring their pace and emotional readiness.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, expect a session that feels calm, welcoming and purposeful. I will guide the conversation in a way that gives structure, but paced appropriately. I want to hear what brought you in, your expectations for change and what has been getting in the way. I will work to build rapport with you so that you feel genuinely heard and understood while forging a collaborative path that feels realistic, achievable and individualized to meet the identified goals.
