I have served in the addiction and mental health treatment fields for 15 years.
During this time, I've worked in multiple settings such as state agencies, treatment courts, universities, and in private practice. I currently serve as the Executive Director of PathLight Counseling in Woodstock, GA. PathLight began in 2017 with one mission in mind; to help the hurting and see people set free. I treat teens and adults.
I'm a Positive Psychology practitioner. I believe in radically non-judgmental counseling that is much more focused on a persons strengths, rather than weaknesses. This involves getting to a new patient well before developing a treatment plan. I also use a number of strengths assessments to help identify, and help utilize your strengths.
The environment at PathLight is extremely positive and goal focused. I truly believe most people are far capable that they realize. My job is to help you be the best version of you, you can be. This is done using evidenced based psychology motivational practices.
