Great to meet you!

Hi there, I have been a practicing clinician for many years. I have learned not only academic and practice interventions, but I have learned from my clients as well. My goal is to help my clients to help themselves. To fully love yourself so that the changes in your life reflect the things that you need to feel good about you. This ensures that others will have a healthy relationship with you that is mutually beneficial. I am also a retired adjunct professor for 20 years at Case Western Reserve University.

My approach to therapy

My approach is caring, and honest. The goal is to accept the things we cannot change (which are very few) and the courage to change the things we can (most everything) I believe in a holistic approach, taking care of our mind, body and spirit and treating others with the same loving care. My approach is solution oriented. We will not dwell on past hurts and transgressions but identify inner strengths that build resilience. Happiness is fleeting, Joy is sustainable, and attainable.

What you can expect from me

A very warm and listening ear that understands the depths of their frustration , pain, disappointment, etc. yet once that has been shared , the focus is upon healing by rebuilding, refocusing , identifying strengths', resources and a strong desire to change how we think, which changes how we behave, which change our lives. Life will never be perfect but we are equipped to manage well and to thrive!
