Great to meet you!

I am a trauma-informed therapist deeply committed to helping individuals reconnect with themselves and others in meaningful, lasting ways. My work is shaped by both clinical training and lived experience, including military service which strengthened my understanding of resilience and human connection under pressure. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating trauma, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I believe healing begins in a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood—because when we experience safe connection, change becomes possible.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, relational, and grounded in both science and human connection. I draw from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), MI, trauma-informed care, somatic and nervous system–informed practices, and neurobiological education to help clients understand not just what they feel, but why their body and mind respond the way they do. I believe healing happens through attuned and intentional presence, emotional safety, and intentional skill-building. In our work together, we focus on strengthening regulation, resilience, connection, and presence—because when a human feels understood, our nervous systems can shift toward growth and hope.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space where you are met as a whole human being—not a diagnosis, and not a collection of problems to solve. I focus more on who you are and where you are at mentally, as apposed to primarily focusing on what has happened to you. We will explore what has brought you here, but just as importantly, I will take time to understand who you are beneath the stress, pain, or patterns you’ve been carrying. I want to know who the being is beneath the human experience. You can expect to feel seen, respected, and engaged in a collaborative process that honors your story while beginning to create a path forward.
