I have been practicing as a Clinical Psychologist since 1988. In addition to my work as an independent practitioner, I was employed as a School Psychologist from 1980-2004, with the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. After retiring from this position, I opened Rubin Psychological Services, P.C. which provides a full range of mental health services to the community.
I have an impressive professional journey that spans thirty-two years and my areas of expertise cover individual and family counseling, adolescent life issues, ADD, family and school issues, and anxiety disorders.
My methods include play therapy, individuals, families, and groups, parenting skill training, school-related behavior and learning issues, psychological opinions relative to medical procedures, psychological assessments, and court-mandated DWI, DWAI, and DUI evaluations
