Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe healing happens through genuine connection, curiosity, and compassion. My approach is experiential and integrative—drawing from evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care while incorporating creative and somatic methods such as animal-assisted therapy, art, music, and narrative work.

I’m a holistic practitioner who views the mind and body as deeply interconnected. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and human—not clinical or cold. You’ll often meet my co-therapists, Beck (therapy dog) and Crush (therapy tortoise), who help create a grounded, nurturing environment for exploration and growth.

My role is to walk beside you as you rediscover your strength, learn to regulate emotion, and reauthor your story. I hold space for humor, grief, creativity, and resilience—all parts of the human experience are welcome here.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that healing occurs through authentic human connection. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, while also incorporating experiential and creative therapies like art, narrative, music, animal-assisted, and somatic therapy.

I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership—one where we explore the whole person, not just the symptoms. Together, we identify patterns, process emotional wounds, and build sustainable skills for emotional regulation and self-understanding.

Therapy with me often includes grounding exercises, creative expression, and an emphasis on mind-body awareness. I tailor each session to the individual, honoring the unique intersection of your story, environment, and lived experience. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change—both internally and in your world.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming and collaborative space focused on helping you feel comfortable and understood. We’ll start with introductions and discuss what brought you to counseling, what goals you hope to work toward, and what therapy might look like for you.

I’ll review confidentiality, informed consent, and answer any questions about how sessions are structured. Together, we’ll explore your story, identify strengths and challenges, and begin developing an individualized plan for care.

Because I practice from a holistic and experiential framework, I often incorporate creative and body-based approaches such as art, animal-assisted, or mindfulness-based interventions—though only when you feel ready.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling seen, safe, and empowered with a clearer sense of direction for your healing journey.
