Great to meet you!

I received my MS in Psychology from Montana State University Billings in 2023 and have worked as both a mental health counselor and psychology technician since 2022. While completing my degree, I interned at Keystone Counseling, where I gained experience supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma related disorders, and life transitions.

My therapeutic foundation is primarily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also integrating techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and positive psychology. I believe therapy should be collaborative, individualized, and grounded in authenticity, allowing clients to explore healing in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable for them.

Before entering the mental health field, I worked in law, recreational education, and program directing, experiences that continue to shape the way I approach communication, advocacy, and problem solving with clients. I also incorporate creativity and artistic expression into my work whenever appropriate, encouraging clients to use creative outlets as tools for self understanding, emotional expression, and healing.

Outside of therapy, I work as a local artist, collaborate with Center for Well-Being, a women led positive psychology group, and co host the Naturally Strong Podcast. My personal strengths include humor, creativity, curiosity, spirituality, and judgment, all of which influence the warm, grounded, and holistic environment I strive to create in therapy.

I currently provide individual counseling services for adults, teens, and children, with a focus on fostering healing, resilience, self awareness, and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client led, and rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel safe, understood, and ready to engage in the process. I offer gentle guidance while allowing clients to move at a pace that feels manageable and authentic to them. Rather than forcing change, I focus on helping clients build insight, self compassion, and trust in themselves so growth can happen in a sustainable way.

My style is warm, grounded, and relational, with an emphasis on creating a nonjudgmental space where clients can explore difficult emotions, patterns, and experiences openly. I integrate evidence based approaches with creativity, curiosity, and compassion, tailoring therapy to each individual rather than using a one size fits all model.

I have particular interest in trauma, identity, relationships, emotional regulation, neurodivergence, self esteem, and helping clients reconnect with parts of themselves that may have been shaped by survival, shame, or past experiences. I also value helping clients identify their strengths and build a life that feels more aligned, balanced, and meaningful to them.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a space for both assessment and connection. We’ll spend time exploring your history, current concerns, strengths, and goals, while also getting a sense of who you are beyond the challenges that brought you to therapy. I aim to create an environment that feels collaborative, grounded, and nonjudgmental, where clients can show up authentically without pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we begin identifying patterns, building insight, and developing goals that support healing, self understanding, and meaningful change.
