Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Jenna and I have worked in the field for 4 years and I am a LCSW. My treatment interventions I specialize in DBT, CBT and trauma work.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to start building a relationship with my client and get to know each other on a human level to build trust. I like to incorporate CBT/ DBT skills in my sessions in a solution focused approach. However, I also go at my clients pace if they come in and want the session to debrief and not focus on skills depending on the day. That is ok with me I am very flexible. Once I create a relationship with my client and we have a good foundation I will challenge your thinking at times in a direct but warm way. I do that out of caring for my clients and wanting them to improve. I never do it in a way to punish them or make them feel small. Sometimes as humans we need someone in our life to point out our mistakes and push us in order to improve ourselves.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will consist of an intake where we focus on creating a treatment plan and formulating diagnosis. The following sessions I focus on building rapport and supplying DBT/CBT skills to work towards treatment plan goals.
