I achieved my Master of Social Work degree from Adelphi University and have obtained my Clinical License in Social Work. I specialize in trauma and addiction, however, I also help those struggling with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, interpersonal relationships, stress and many more. There is nothing that talk therapy cannot help.
I use a multitude of modalities, as there is not a "one size fits all" approach. Everyone is different, therefore, everyone needs treatment tailored to their specific needs. I utilize a psychodynamic approach, cognitive-behavioral therapy, strengths based perspective, modern psychoanalysis and client-centered approach. I incorporate mindfulness techniques to help those cope with their stressors.
